I have has so much stuff going on this month. But it was been a wonderful month and I have had an awesome time doing it. The pictures are out of order but I wanted to get most of them in on this one post. So here we go. The day after I got back from Georgia Tyler had a field trip. He went to a wildlife habitat place and got to see some fish and birds. The tour guide also showed us where the local beavers come to hang out although they weren't there that day and showed us a hiding place of a fox.
Then he went to the Botanical gardens. He got to plant a marigold there.

And dissect a lily.

While I was in Georgia Tyler had his last baseball game. He loved his baseball session. He did very well and hit the ball every time he was up to bat. I am proud of his hard work.

Natalie and Nichole went to a Civil War reenactment place for their field trip. Abraham Lincoln paid them a visit. They got to see some weapons that were used in the war.

They had a great time. I am still sad that I didn't get to go with them.

Ella did many first this month. She loved having her first sleepover. She got to invite her friend Kerissa over to our house. They stayed up pretty late and had so much fun.

Poor Otis has followed in the tradition of many of out pets. He got to get dressed up. But unlike all of the other pets the kids have done it to the girls decided to use a bra on him. Lucky Otis. But they had so much fun doing it and he was patient enough to let them.

My Birthday

I had the best birthday this year. It was a whole week long. Nate had to work on my birthday so he took me out the Saturday before. We went to the Melting Pot for dinner. It was delicious. We got there 4 course meal and because we went there for a special occasion they sat us toward the back of the restaurant in a private booth with no one around. It was very cozy. They even had a birthday card set out on the table for me. We hung around Boise for a little bit and then went home to watch a movie. I felt really bad because Nate was not feeling that hot at all. But he insisted on taking me anyway. On my birthday I went to Tucano's for lunch with Nate and Ella. Which was yummy as always. When the kids got home from school they all presented me with cards and Natalie even made me a bouquet of flowers. It was so cute. Later the night I got to go to Young Women's. The ladies I work with in YW spoiled me and my YW got me a card. I even got cupcakes with starburst decorated like presents on top. On Friday my friends Heather and Kori took me out to eat at Goodwood and we went to Target to look around. I had an awesome birthday. Thank you everyone that made it special for me.

Volleyball

For the past 2 weeks the girls have been going to a volleyball camp. They have been learning the basics and having so much fun doing it. Today they had a game to show off all of their new skills to the parents. The girls are pretty good at volleyball. They played 4 games today and won all for of them. Good job at all your hard work girls.

Pinewood Derby

Last night Tyler had his pinewood derby. It was done with 2 different wards and they brought in a electric track from SLC. He did not place but he had fun anyway. He got a driver's license and a certificate for having the best wedge shaped car. It was the first derby race that I have ever been to. I didn't realize how competitive it was.
