Christmas tree decorating

We put up our tree when we got home from Bend this weekend. Nate told me that this was going to be the last time he puts up this stupid tree. It is missing several branch's and it looks like it has a bite taken out of it. Oh well it works for us. I love the fullness of the tree but, it is too full for my home.

Thanksgiving

I hope all of you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Ours was great. We got to go to Bend, Oregon to spend it with Nate's little sister Tessa, her boyfriend Casey and their new baby girl Olivia. We are so thankful that they let us invite ourselves to their house. We had a wonderful dinner which included way too much food. But it was tasty. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes. funeral potatoes, pistachio pudding, jello salad, green bean casserole, rolls, yams, pecan pie, coconut cream pie, and apple pie. It was all so tasty. This is Olivia. She is the cutest little thing. She is such a happy little girl. She is starting to smile although she saved most of them for while she was sleeping.Nate spent a lot of the weekend figuring out the Rubix cube.Tyler spent a lot of the time with Casey. Either playing the game boy or chess. But of course there was time for fishing. The river runs right in the back of Tessa's yard. They had a trap out there to catch crawdads.Natalie and Nichole slept at Tessa's and the rest of us spent the night in a hotel. This is not the first time that I have caught Tyler and Nate sleeping in the exact same position as each other. They were banned to the other bed. Apparently Thanksgiving dinner did not agree with them. This picture is funny because although it is not clear it shows all of the movement in it.Tessa entered a gingerbread house in a competition this year. There were a ton of great houses there. Tessa's being one of them. These were my favorites. This is the candyland house. This is one of the resort that it was held at.An under the sea theme. And here is one with A Christmas Story themed. They had to be 75% edible. Here's some more of Olivia.Nate, Tessa, Nichole, Ella and I went to a tree lighting ceremony in the middle of downtown Bend. Santa came and lite the tree. He had us count down from 5 before he flipped the switch. The first time it didn't work so we had to do it again.Ella got to see Santa and he waved at us while we were walking beside him on the road.Tessa and Casey.Nate and that darn Rubix cube.

What a great experience our trip to Bend was (even though on the way home we slid all over the road trying to not hit the car that was in front of us that had turned sideways in the road). I am so happy that I got to go see where Tessa lives. Hey she even went out on Black Friday with me.

I am thankful for.....

A-Accepted- I am grateful for being able to feel accepted for who I am and all that craziness that goes along with it.
B-Books- I am grateful for all of the books in my life. Books are what relax me and help me get away. How else would I have a vampire boyfriend, fight my way through middle earth, and take a stand against a game I do not believe in.
C-Christ- How can I go through this holiday season without mentioning Christ. I am grateful for my Lord and Savior. For His love for me and His atoning sacrifice for each of us.
D-Dads, I am grateful to have a wonderful dad that is very supportive of all of my decisions even if he doesn't agree with it.
E-Ears- I am grateful that I have ears to hear all of the music I love to listen to.
F-Family- I am grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful family. My Brothers and Sister are all amazing.
G-Girlfriends- I am grateful for all of my girlfriends. They are all wonderful. I am grateful that they listen to me and still want to hang out with me.
H-Happiness- I am grateful for all of the things that make me Happy.
I-Inspiration- I am grateful for the inspiration that the Lord gives to me to direct my home and church callings.
J-Journaling- I am grateful for journaling. I am not very good at keeping a journal but I am pretty good at blogging. I love to go back and look at the things that I have journaled about on my blog.
K-Kids- I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed me with 4 wonderful, beautiful, and loving kids. I am the luckiest mom in the world to have such wonderful kids.
L-Love- I am grateful for all the love I have in my life. The love of my husband and kids means the world to me. The love from my parents, brothers and sister, and the love of my friends. I feel loved everyday.
M-Mom- I am grateful for my mom who lets me talk about my frustrations without judgement and is my best friend.
N-Nate- I am grateful for Nate and what a wonderful spiritual man he is. He is an amazing father that awes me with his patients and love. He is the perfect husband for me. He supports me in everything that I do, he laughs with me (and at me), and puts up with me everyday.
O-Oven- I am grateful for my oven and being able to prepare many items for my family in it.
P-Picture's-I am grateful for all of the pictures I take of my kids to help me remember all of the things that they accomplished. And how darn cute they are as they are growing up.
Q-Quietness- I am grateful for the little bit of quite time I get each day that allows me some me time each day.
R-Roof- I am grateful that I have a roof over my head to keep all the bad weather out. And all the good things in my life safe.
S-Slippers- I am grateful for my slippers. My feet are always the coldest part of my body. Because of this I can't fall asleep until my feet are warm. If I wear my slippers before bed then I can go to bed with my feet warm. Plus they are fuzzy and cute.
T-Temples- I am grateful that Heavenly Father has put temples on this earth. I am grateful for the work that goes on in them and I am especially grateful that I was able to get sealed to my family in them.
U-USA- I am grateful that I get to live in this wonderful country. With all of our freedoms that come along with it.
V-Vacation- I am grateful for vacations. The time it gives you to just get away even when they are just mini and take place in my bedroom.
W-Welcome- I am grateful for all of the people that have welcomed me into their life. Everyone of them has touched me in one way or another.
X. X-mas- I am grateful for Xmas and all of the fun times I get to have during the holidays. I love being able to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Y-Young Women's- I love my calling in church. I love spending time with these wonderful girls. I have had a blast getting to know each one of the girls and learning all their unique personality.
Z-ZZZZzzzz- I am grateful for my sleep.

New Moon.....

So how was New Moon you ask? It was awesome. I went into it thinking if it was even a little better then Twilight was it was going to be a good one. The acting was a lot better, the special effects... awesome. I loved it and can't wait to take my big girls to it.

As we all I am an Edward Fan. But I have to admit....
In the movie Jacob was a better actor then

Edward was.

The wolf scene's were so awesome and Jacob didn't seem so girly as I thought that he was going to. I felt something for Jacob.

So was I swayed a little bit to the wolf side?

Heck No!!! Edward forever!

The rest of my girls

I finally got the rest of the girls picture's edited. Most of them turned out really well. I had such a fun time taking pictures of my kids. It was a little chilly outside that day and Ella did not want to be out there in the cold but she suffered through it.
