Fast Forward to summer break

I am just so far behind in my posting I thought that I would start with the more currant stuff and maybe, maybe then I will go back and try to catch up.  Tyler, Ella, and I flew down to Utah at the end of may to take part in my sister's wedding.  We arrived about a week before the event was taking place.  It was challenging to me because I left Natalie, Nichole, and Nate here in Alaska and I wasn't going to see my big girls for almost a month and Nate for almost two.  But it was also fun because I got to spend time with just Tyler and Ella and I really think that I got to connect with them more.
The first weekend we were there was Memorial Day Weekend.  We celebrated with a BBQ, S'mores and all.  Fun time was had by all.  Plus nothing beats my dads BBQ!

After the BBQ we went out to our family members grave sites to show our respect and share memories with the kids about my grandparents.  Ella felt bad that we didn't bring flowers this year so she decorated their graves as only she would.

The next day the kids and I went over to Nate's parents house for dinner.  We then went to visit Grandpa Swenson's grave.  The Spanish Fork Cemetery does a wonderful job of celebrating our fallen veterans on Memorial Day.  Nate's Grandpa was a vet.  They put his name on a flag that was put up for Memorial Day  and also put his name up on a Military Memorial at the cemetery,
