Let me introduce you to the kindergarten class of 2010

Today my baby girl graduated from Kindergarten. Miss Ytuarte held the cutest ceremony for the parents. The kids came in the class room with their white caps on and sang to us 3 different songs then she did her little speech and handed out the diploma's. After all of the diplomas were handed out the kids got to hang out in the classroom and have a little picnic in there. I was very lucky because I got to go into the class before all of the other parents did and help set things up. That also means that I got to take a whole bunch of extra pictures and I got to stand in the best spot for graduation. I am still in shock a little that my baby girl is growing up. I keep asking her not to but she insists on doing it anyway. Good Job Ella. Daddy and Mommy are proud of their little kindergarten graduate!

Ella really did love Kindergarten. On to bigger and better things. First grade here she comes!

Tyler's award

Since we are going to be gone the actual award ceremony day at school Tyler was given his award today. He got an award for having the most AM (Accelerated Math) objectives mastered for the whole 3rd grade. Tyler really loves AM and he has been flying through it. I was not at all surprised when he got the award for that.Tyler's principal came in to give him the award and the shirt that he won. Tyler did not know what was going on at first and hounded me all the night before trying to figure out why I was coming into his class. I thought that it would be a good surprise so I didn't tell him.Tyler with his teacher Mrs. Bowlden. She also taught Nichole.

Pictures of Nate

I got these pictures of Nate off of Facebook. They are ones that other people have posted of him. I don't know much about them but I wanted to document them anyway. Nate was given this metal for his service in Iraq.

Random pictures

Get ready for picture overload.
This week for family home evening we were invited to play volleyball. I played for a minute and then I decided that I would have just as much fun talking with some of the ladies as I would actually playing. But I took a picture of the kids that did play. And Me and Heather. This was so cute. I know its not a very good picture at all. But when we went to the girls spring concerts Ella decided that she needed a drink and since I was saving the places for everyone Tyler took her over to get one. Now the drinking fountains are up really high and Tyler couldn't pick her up and help her reach it that way so what does he do? He kneels on the ground (he's in the red jacket) and Ella stand on him (she is in the green jacket). He makes such a good step stool right?Ella and her buddy Harrison (but you can call him Harry)These were just some photos that I snagged from both of the girls camera's. They wanted to do a photo shoot. It looks like they had some fun doing it too. This swing was made by the kids. They love it. Although Ella came in the other day and proclaimed really loudly "I have a sliver in my booty" I was a little shocked to see her in the kitchen with her pants down. But good new folks. She got the sliver out. And then successfully pulled her pants back up.

Ella has said and done some funny things this week. The other day she told me that she and her friend were taking turns wiggling her friends tooth. Then she helped her out and pulled it out for her.

Also while she was in the tub the other day she yelled to me "Mom I held my breath for 16 minutes". but she had only been in the tub for 3.

I asked Ella what the 10 commandments were carved and and she said "ummm a pumpkin"?

Funny kid!

Ella's Field Day

North Elementary held there annual Field day on Friday. Tyler decided to go camping instead of going to field day so Ella was the only one that participated this year. The kindergarten only had 3 different stations at field day this year. The first station was the parachute station. They got to slowly wave the parachute up and down and then wildly do it as fast as they could. The girls got to trap the boys under the parachute and then the boys got to trap the girls. Ella loved going under the parachute and getting trapped. The next station that they went to was the water relay station. They had to pass this ball in between their legs to the end of the line and fill up a cup with the water that was trapped inside the ball. Ella liked doing that too but, it quickly got boring to her.The last station that the kids went to was the bubble station. All of the kids had a blast with the bubbles. It was just windy enough that when the kids held up the wand the wind would blow the bubbles for them. After all of the sweating from field day they got to cool off with a Popsicle. And then run around some more and play on the playground. When they were done outside the kids got to go inside and watch a movie. Ella had a very memorable first field day!
