My parents, the kids, and I took a trip to the farmers market. Ella woke up not feeling super well but she was able to push on and wanted so badly to go to the farmers market so we ended up going. She perked up for a while and carried on throughout the farmers market, Trying samples and joining in on all of the market fun. After the market we went to whole foods which is another one of my favorite places to go in Utah and got some yummy food. Ella wanted her picture taken inside of this little thing. See she looks perky.
We even went to lunch afterwards and she ate like a trooper. Besides having an earache she was feeling ok. Thats when it all went downhill.
Both of the kids were tired from being out in the hot sun so they soon fell asleep in the car on the ride home. I took advantage of that and took a selfie with them.
After we got home this happened. It got to the point where she just wasn't recovering so I ended up taking her into the ER
We didn't have to wait super long to see the doctor, He took a look in her ear and found that she had a blister on her eardrum that was causing her a lot of pain and also her fever. He also wanted to get a chest xray done to make sure that she didn't have a respiratory infection.
She got to experience her first wheelchair ride. Shortly after her chest xray was done they released us with some antibiotics.
Which was all good on Saturday and Sunday. Then Monday came. She was just getting worse. She had a massive headache that she couldn't shake and kept throwing up. I packed her up and headed back to the ER. She ended up being severally dehydrated. They had to give her an IV. She was very scared about getting it. She screamed and screamed. My mom, 2 nurses and I had to hold her down. But after it was in she said that it wasn't so bad and didn't hurt. They also had her do a lung treatment to help clear up the fluid in her lungs. The IV fluids took about 2 hours and they came to check on her again. She had perked right up. They sent her on her way. But before she left the hospital gave her this cute little doll.
