My mom, Meagan, My girls, Gina (Joys friend), and I hosted a shower for my sister. The theme is the title of this post. We did everything time oriented. On the invitation we gave people a time of day to buy a present around. Which I guess was harder then it seemed. I had so much fun planning this shower with the other ladies.
This is the gift we have the people for coming to the shower. It is nail polish dressed up as a bride and a nail file we painted like a groom. We also threw in a chocolate dipped oreo that I cut out a circle and stamped a clock face on it. The tag (not pictured) said "Thank you for taking "time" to come a celebrate with us."
The food was also sectioned off into times of the day. We tried to incorporate Joy's favorite foods. This picture below showed dessert time. Which consisted of chocolate and toffee dipped cheesecake bites and pumpkin squares.
For dinner time we had "Bridal Shower Nachos" Those consisted of fritos (which are in the blue bag) then you add whatever toppings you like on top of your nachos. My mom, my sister, and I had these nachos one time during a girls night out. They were called "White trash Nachos" and they came with a rubber glove to mix the food with. We opted to change the name.
For Lunch time we had a potato bar and cucumber sandwiches. Joys absolute favorite food is potatoes so we had to put in a potato bar.
For breakfast time we made a fruit and yogurt parfait.

For Drink Time a glass got dipped in juice then rimmed with poprocks. A piece of cotton candy was placed inside the glass. People then poured a lemonade sprite mixture over the top. It was fun to watch the cotton candy dissolve and it was tasty too.
This is the table that greeted people as they arrived. It had a mad libs game for people to pick up and fill out and the thank you treat at it.
The present table
We asked people to fill out a date time idea and put it on the wreath.
My dad and I made this backdrop for a photobooth at Joy's shower. We had a chalkboard for everyone to fill out the phrase "One Time". They were supposed to fill it out with the one time they met Joy or the one time they had a fun adventure with her.
Joy's shower turned out great and I loved being able to celebrate with her. She has some very lovely friends and she got some very nice gifts.
