It is snowing (AGAIN) in this ever white state of Alaska. I know, I know it should be expected after all it is Alaska. And I do expect it. I was just also hoping deep down that I wouldn't see snow again until later (much later) on in the year. It was actually starting to melt a ton. We were starting to see grass! I do believe that it won't actually stay around that long. I decided to make a list of things that I don't care to do in Alaska. P.S. I have been feeling really negative lately.
1. Go camping. Now I planned to not do that at all. Period. End of story. But, I am going with the Young Women for Girl's Camp and that will be that last time I plan on going.
2. Ski. I have been skiing once so that can be crossed off my bucketlist but I didn't really care for it and I don't really feel like I need to do it again. But it will be a great activity for Nate and the kids to do together so take that (as a bit of an odd contradictory here I would go snowshoeing. I love snowshoeing).
3. Make an igloo. Now let me get this straight. I DO NOT LIKE BEING COLD! Yet, I stupidly moved here. One of the coldest places I can imagine. The only thing worse then being cold is being cold AND wet! So I am choosing to not go outside and build an igloo with my kids or have a snowball fight with them.
4. I refuse to buy those really ugly shoes that everyone has here because they make you higher off the ground. Not saying that it isn't smart to buy them. I just don't think they will match any of my outfits!
5. I refuse to pay almost 100 bucks for the family to go swimming in the indoor water park just because it is indoor. Buy all means I won't go swimming in an outdoor water park here (F.Y.I. there isn't one here that I know of anyway) because that would be in strict violation of number 3 being cold and wet at the same time. Another very valid point no one I repeat no one wants to see this (am pointing to my whole body right now) in a bathing suit. The way I look at it I am just doing everyone a favor and saving money at the same time.

Now that my Alaska rant is over. I wanted to write something my cute little boy said just so I can remember it. It all started with an innocent question.
Tyler: Did you know that President Uchtdorf was born with Czechoslovakia? I interpreted this at the time as born in not with.
Natalie asking me: Where is Czechoslovakia?
Tyler answering Natalie: It's in your lungs.
What a cute boy. Very good to know. Here I was thinking that it used to be a country.
