I wanted to show how much the snow has melted here. Not too long ago this was covered in tons of snow. Then it melted into big puddles that would freeze at night. There would be big rivets in the road where the cars would drive over the ice and it would freeze. Now the kids can walk almost all of the way to the bus stop without ice. It is great. I no longer have to worry about falling on my bottom every time I walk the the kids to the bus!

March is always a busy month for us. Not only did we celebrate Nate's birthday but, 2 days later Nate and I celebrated our 14th anniversary. He brought me these flower's for a gift. We also had the missionaries over that night. I bought Nate an ice fishing pole for our anniversary.
I have been eyeing some really cute high heels lately. I don't typically wear heals because I don't' think that they are the most comfy and also then I am taller then Nate. But, I do like to wear them when I am out with my friends. I went into my closet and tried on a pair of heels to even see if I could walk in them. Verdict... I could not. Instead I found these really cute yellow flats and a pair of brown flats for the price of the one pair of heels. Bonus for me!
Tyler got an award at school the other day for being a really good speller. I don't even have to practice the words with him because he studies them all on his own. What a good boy!
On St. Patrick's Day I made these rainbow treats to go in the kids lunch boxes. They also got an all green lunch which consisted of a sandwich made on green bread, green pudding and sugar snaps!
Natalie got bored and tried to keep this balloon up in the air for a long time. I am not sure how long she did it but I do know that it kept her entertained for quite a while. I wanted to be sure to add a picture without her flashing a peace sigh. I used to do this all of the time with my brother's and sister. We used to call it Pigs In Space. After the pigs in space episodes on the Muppet's!
It is finally getting warm enough to play outside a little. There is still a lot of snow but it is now starting to melt. Soon Ella will be able to ride in the Cul de sac instead of on the patio.
Ella made this little girls in art. I thought she did a great job. Look at the rosy cheeks!
Ella also got an award in school. She got it for reading. In Mtn. Home the kids had not even started reading yet so when we moved here she was way behind. She worked really hard and jumped up 4 reading levels in 2 1/2 months!

Tyler had his final Pinewood Derby. I am so glad that this is going to be over. I have never really been a fan. But this one was especially painful. It ran over 3 1/2 hours! Every car had to race every other car. He did a great job making it although it didn't run super fast.
