Ok so my super cool nail polish doesn't really warrant a post all on it's own. But that fact that I got to spend some good old fashion QT with my girls does. I got this really cool polish called Shatter from OPI (thanks Joy for telling me about it). It makes it look like your nails have a crackle finish. I have gotten more compliments on my nails then on anything else in a really long time. I bought it through Amazon which is a really funny story: When I went to check out at amazon it asked me if I wanted to use my credits. Credits? I thought to myself I have credits on there? Heck yeah I want to use my credits. After using my credits I ended up paying zilch for it and as an added bonus I still had 30 dollars worth of credits on there. Did I find it odd that I had credits on there, you ask? Why of course I did. Did I question it at all and jump feet first into using said credits? That is exactly what happened. After using them and finding out that there was still 30 dollars worth of credits I almost went on a shopping spree with it. Mind you it wouldn't of been that successful but 30 dollars of credits is 30 dollars of credits. I decided not to do that. When Nate got home from work I was so excited about my FREE nail polish that I just had to tell him all about it. When I came to the part of free and credits I talked that sucker up knowing how proud Nate would be of me saving HIM money. His response. Of course we have credits on there. After all I did give him a gift certificate for Christmas to go with his new Kindle. Oops. Thanks babe for the way awesome nail polish.
Anyway back to the original story. Natalie and Nichole loved my nails so much I decided to do their nails too. As show in the first picture below I went with Pink ( don't be frightened by the fact that in the picture I only have 3 fingers. I do in fact have all 5 of my fingers still intact but, it is incredibly hard to take a picture with your phone with one hand so this is what you get), Natalie went with Blue, and Nichole went with the Silver color. Following the nail painting a photo shoot occurred where we volunteered Ella to be the photographer. We goofed off taking silly pictures for about 20 minutes. Although it all started with just some silly nails it ended up being a great time with Natalie and Nichole.
On to another story that I just had to share. This was a post from FB. It made me laugh so hard that I almost peed my pants. Let me set the scene the beginning of this post takes place between two of my family members. One being around the age of 16 and the other 14. Name have been changed to save face of the two girls involved. The older of the two lets call her SmAli wrote this as her status: ( it happens to be a short conversation between the two relatives)
commercial for Kate and prince William's wedding-
SmAli: oh my I can't wait to watch their wedding, it's gonna be way cool.
Smarah: wow SmAli your not even going. You weren't invited.
to which this is the response in the comment session:
Smarah: I was invited.
SmAli: Shut up. Just cuz your name means princess doesn't mean you were invited to the biggest wedding of the century.
Smarah: I'm leaving tomorrow.
SmAli: Well im leaving tonight. I'm better. I'm staying in their palace.
SmAli: THE Birmingham palace.
Smarah: I like how you had to look that up....
SmAli: I didn't know how to spell it?
Smarah: Yeah....okay
SmAli: Go to bed
At this point I couldn't help myself I had to intervene
Me: F.y.I. You would be staying at The Buckingham Palace.
Me: F.y.I. You would be staying at The Buckingham Palace.
SmAli and Smarah's mom then posts: My daughters are brilliant....wow. Now if the wedding were in Alabama perhaps you could stay in the Birmingham palace.
SmAli: That's embarrassing..
Smarah: Haha you even looked it up. How sad!
