Ok now that I switched over to the new blogger finally I have to get used to it again and not put my pictures up in the wrong order so they will turn out how I want them too. Anyway for Ella's field trip we went to see the play Room on the Broom. It was performed by 4 actors from England. They played the 4 people and puppets in the play at the same time. Ella loved it and giggled the whole time. While we were there they announced that the actors would be gong to the Eagle River Library to have a little meet and greet a few days later and invited everyone to show up. I took Ella to meet them. They read the kids a book and the library had supplies for the kids to make wands out of. After the reading Ella went up to the actors (one was missing she wasn't feeling very well) and asked them if she could have her picture taken with them. I of course had nothing to do with that. Ella and I both talked with them for a while. They were all very nice. OK so here is the embarrassing part. As I was talking to them I noticed that I started to have a British accent. A British accent you say. Have you ever even been to England? The answer is NO! I have no idea where that came from. I was started to sound like a really bad actor in a really bad movie (maybe Kevin Costner). Once I noticed it I had to think about every word that I was saying to make sure that it didn't come out with an accent. I know that is really random but, it happens to me whenever I am around anyone with an accent. The last time it happened I was in Florida with Lesley and her Aunt. We were talking about something and I said lawyer (law yer) not the normal (lowyer) like I would normally say. I may of also said Holloween not Halloween. So that is a tad bit of information that you may or may not of known about me. How embarrassing is that? I guess I am just awesome like that.
The little boy in the background giving me the evil eye was telling me that I was NOT supposed to have any electronic device on and that I needed to put it away! Oopsie busted again!
The next day Ella got to bring home Franny Fire bird. Franny is the stuffed animal in their class that every kids gets to bring home and write about what they did with her. Ella didn't do too many things that were exciting. I did find an excuse not to make dinner that night and took Franny and the rest of the family to Qdoba to dinner. Franny just had to do something fun. She also played outside with Tyler and Ella. Franny had a blast at our house.
