School Work

Instead of saving all of the kids school work I started taking pictures of them with it.  These first two pictures are of Ella with her flower and easter egg master pieces.  She did a great job but cried because she said it didn't turn out how she wanted it to.

Tyler had to do a research paper on the Hopi Indians.  It was required that he also do make a diarama of one of the dwellings and to bring in some food that the Hopi Native Americans eat.  We mad fry bread with cinnamon sugar on it.  Tyler worked really hard on his diarama.  He used sugar cubes to represent the Adobe rocks.  He also made a latter out of skewers and a fire, pottery, and a rug out of clay.  He used cinnamon the dye the rocks a brown color and left cinnamon on the bottom to use as sand.  He did a wonderful job and spent many hours getting it all prepared.  Hopefully the judges (yes there is going to be judging I am unsure why) like it.

While he was sculpting the idems in his diarama out of the clay the girls all made things out of clay as well.  Natalie made a deformed spounge.  Ella made a bird house in a tree.  Nichole made a Celtic drawing.  I bought the clay for Tyler to use but, the girls used the majority of it.  Hours of fun for only $3.22.  What a great deal.
