Tyler turns 12!!!!

My little boy isn't so little anymore.  He is 12 years old!  I can't even wrap my mind around that.  He spent most of his birthday on the rafting trip with the scouts then at his friends house because Nate and I were still on our way home from Homer.  But after we got back from Homer, Tyler didn't waste anytime unwrapping his gifts.  He got everything that he wanted for his birthday this year.  He got a football, a helmet, electronic monopoly, and some skylanders.  Nate's parents gave him some money as well as Nate's grandparents.  My parents got him a camel back.
The next week we celebrated his birthday.  When the my kids hit middle school they no longer get to have a big birthday party.  They get to have a friend go out to dinner with them and then they can do an activity together and spend the night.  Tyler chose to have Carter over for his birthday.  They went to see Brave and then went to eat at Bear's Tooth.  Carter also spent the night at the house too.
Look how handsome he is.  He is all dressed up for his church interview.
 Tyler and his gifts.
Tyler and Carter at Bear's Tooth.  We tried to go to Moose's Tooth but the wait was too long so we went to Bear's Tooth instead.
Tyler's eyes are the same color as the padding on the back of the bench.
When I came downstairs in the morning this is how I found these too.  It doesn't look very comfortable to me but they don't seem to mind.
