For Young Women's this week we did a Personal Progress Red Carpet night. The girls all dressed up in nice dresses, walked the red carpet and received an award. We gave out awards for almost all of the values. The girls also had to give an acceptance speech that went something like this. I would like to thank (insert value here) for helping me get this award tonight. It was great to see the many talents of the Young Women in the ward. I loved being able to see the displays of projects.
Nichole got an award in Faith. She sculpted a nativity scene out of clay. She did an amazing job with it. I am quite impressed with her talent.
Natalie got an award in Individual Worth. She learned a song on her saxophone and played it for everyone there. She is coming along rather nicely on her saxophone and plays it really well.
