I am trying to be better about journaling. I am not always the best at it. But, I found this journaling prompt website and I thought that I would give it ago. Now I can't guarantee that it will be done everyday or even every week just every once in a while.
10. Found out among my friends here in Mountain Home Nate and I have been married the longest.
9. Nate and I won the Celestial Companion game last night. In the process I found out that... His favorite candy bar is a Kit Kat. Never knew that all this time. I wrote down Reece's. He thinks I am the late one in the family. He says that I always make him late from coming home from church. My question is... Late for what? We are going home. He also completely lied and said that I am more physically fit then he is. What the? Who are you kidding? He said he would rather take the loss of a point.
8. The girls had friends sleep over and they left that morning but not without playing a game called "what if?" They wrote their own questions to it and one of the questions was... "What if I watched a rated "R" movie without my parents knowing?" I turned to Nate and said "That one was definitely written by one of the Mormon girls here.
7. For the first time ever Nate, Tyler, Ella, and I watched a movie in bed together. Of course I fell asleep. But before I did I thought about how we really need to do that more often.
6. I finally finished my book I was reading called the Dragon Heir. Very good book I just haven't had much time to read lately so I am excited that I got some reading done today.
5. Along that note I finally finished the last of the 13 Dave Ramsey FPU cd's which were all good but I struggled to stay awake through all of them. I don't think that it was because they were boring I think it was because we were always in the car when we listened to them. Yep if I needed a nice nap I would just listen to Dave. Side note. I was never driving said car and taking a nap. Just wanted to clarify that.
4. When to Shoshone Falls with the family yesterday. We had a picnic and went hiking to different view points at the falls. We decided that we would need to rename them Natalie, Nichole and Tyler falls because all three of them fell to the ground during our outing. We have made it a family goal to go hiking more often.
3. On the way to the falls we stopped at the Twin Falls Temple and walked around the temple grounds as a family. We have been reading about temples in The Ensign and decided it would be fun to stop by the temple on the way to just feel the peace that is there even on the outside of the temple.
2. Ella lost her first tooth. She was so excited to loose it that I worked on wiggling that thing for over an hour to get it out. Tyler lost one the night before and Ella cried and cried because she hadn't lost one yet. After the tooth fairy came she told me that it I was the one the put a dollar under her pillow and not the tooth fairy. BTW it was not me. We were watching a movie that night and as I mentioned before I feel asleep before the movie was even over.
1. Sadly, I got released from my calling as YW President today. It was a bittersweet moment for me. I am so sad to be leaving these truly wonderful girls but at the same time I am excited to go to Alaska and to see what life has in store. I taught the lesson today to the Mia Maids and Laurels and we talked about Gratitude and I cried. I bore my testimony and I cried. I left church and I cried. It has been an amazing 2 years for me. I have been blessed and my testimony has grown. I am going to miss these YW so much. To go along with the lesson I thought that I would list some of my blessings.
