I have been wanting to go to the falls forever now. I have actually made a date to go once but had to cancel due to weather. But what a great family outing it turned out to be. Our first stop was to go to the closest observation deck and have a look at the falls as close as we could get.
Then we went to a picnic table and had a tasty lunch of sandwiches, banana's, and chips. Unfortunately we forgot to pick up drinks which was the plan.
Ella rolled down the big hill before coming to eat.
After our lunch we went hiking up the trail to other scenic look outs. The weather was perfect for our family outing. It was nice and overcast so there was no blaring sun.
The kids found this awesome cave and everyone had to have their picture taken in it.
There were many different places that had water running down the mountain. The 2 younger kids loved to find them and point them out to everyone.
Ella's bum got really dirty from sliding down the mountain.
We did stop and rest in the middle of the trail before we all raced down the trail and back to the car.
