Nichole went with her friend's family dirt biking for the second time last week. She really, really enjoyed herself the first time and was very excited to be invited to go with them again. She was really enjoying herself until she drove the dirt bike right off a 5 ft. bridge into a raven full of water. Which I am sad to say was NOT the first accident that she got into that day. She also ran into a big rock and a tree! I was at Cub Scout Camp with Tyler when I got the phone call that she was home but shaken up. I rushed home just to double check on her. Of course she is very banged up and a little embarrassed. She had tow goose eggs, one on her knee and one on her hip. Both the size of 2 golf balls. She took it easy the rest of the day and the following day and felt much better by Sunday.
I wish these picture's would of turned out better because it doesn't really show her bruises in the right deep purple and blue and red that they were.
The family that she went with came by the next day to check on Nichole and gave her a trophy. The dirt biking shirt that she was wearing. It is not very scratched up but, very dirty. I have learned from this experience that she will NOT be getting her drivers license anytime soon and Nichole can't wait to go dirt biking again!
