Tyler left on the 21st to go to Disneyland with my parents!!! He had such a great time. Thursday night he flew by himself to Salt Lake City (okay it is like a 45 minute flight) where my mom and dad picked him up. He didn't leave Utah until Saturday. Their (Mom, Dad, Tyler and Joy) first stop was in Las Vegas where they stayed the night at the Excalibur. They went to the knight dinner show that night. He thought that it was cool. He liked to eat his food with his fingers although my mom said that he hardly ate anything at all he was much more interested in what was going on in the show.
The next day they got up bright and early and drove to California and went straight over to Disneyland. His favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean. And he did not like Splash Mountain. He liked that it had a lot of food places. He also liked the Nightmare before Christmas ride. He didn't really like the rides that had the big rides. A bug's life in 3D scared him to death and he cried. My parents assured him that the bugs were not real but he really didn't like the black widow coming down at him.
He also went to California Adventure. He liked soaring over California. He liked the Cars ride. He also liked spending his money (he bought an elephant pillow, and a monkey).
He came home from his trip on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Nate and I went to pick him up. I was so excited to see him. He came out of the bedroom (he was watching a movie) said hi, gave me a hug, and went back to watching his movie. He is like every other boy. I really have to pry to get information from him.
He had a great time. I wish my grandparents took me to Disneyland for my 8th birthday!
