Basketball

I signed the girls up for basketball this year. They have both been having so much and and they are now both telling me that it is their favorite sport. They are both really good at it. It was interesting how the Parks and Rec people are doing it. For 3 weeks they held practice. They taught them a whole bunch of drills but didn't teach them much along the lines of rules of the game. After 3 weeks they separated them into grades and then separated them into teams for 3 on 3. They put the girls on the same team which is great but they have yet to play on the same team. There has always been not enough people on the other team so they always take one of my girls to put on the other team. Which is fine too because that means that I always get to cheer. Although I do gets some funny looks when I clap for both teams. I am so happy that the girls are enjoying this sport and can't wait to have them sign up again next year!!!!Go Nannie Go!!!

The girls are the shortest ones on their team. Of course because of their birthday they put them with the 6th grade team instead of the 5th grade team.
