I can not believe it my only little boy is a teenager!! Man what a big kid young man he is becoming too. Tyler is extremely smart, very kind, and a tenderhearted, polite, all around good kid. He is such an example to all of the boys in his young men's class. This is one proud mama. We had a short amount of time between when my parent's left and Nate's parents got here to celebrate. We had a small family party and then he celebrated later with one of his friends.
Ella used every single one of the bags in our house to wrap his present. She got him an subway gift card.
He got an iTunes gift card from one of his sisters and a chocolate bar from the other one (it's been a while I can't remember which one gave him which and lets be honest here the only reason that I can remember Ella's is because as I stated previously she used every single bag in the house to wrap it with and even then I had to scroll down the pictures to see what he got from her).
Tyler got a ipod from Nate and I and an ipod dock to charge and play it on. And now of course he is glued to it like it is an extension of his hand. Passing no judgements I knew what I was getting into agreeing that he could have one.
He wanted a chocolate tart cake for his birthday. It is one of his favorites and a very decadent cake.
Tyler had his friend Matthew over for his party. They went bowling and ate a BBQ. Afterwards they watched Jack the Giant Slayer. Matthew spent the night and they did a whole bunch of crazy responsible boy things like watch Netflix, do a puzzle, and eventually go to bed.
And of course he had to have another dessert to eat with his friend. He picked brownies of course. If you know Tyler at all you know that he loves brownies A LOT!!!
