Other Random things going on

We have a lot of stuff going on lately.  For one thing the little kids started running club at their school.  They have been running every Tuesday and Thursday training for a jamboree that they will be participating in next week.  They come home from school on running club days just worn out.  Tyler always has a hard time wanting to go to scouts afterwards.
I made this cute hair clip for Natalie for the pictures that I took of her that I have yet to post.
Natalie, Nichole, and Nate all participated in the world wide day of service that the church sponsored today.  Natalie was lucky enough to wear the yellow helping hands shirt.  I stayed home with the little kids. I wasn't able to go and help and we decided that it would be better to have them stay and help me then have them going out and getting in the way.
Nichole got new glasses.  This pair was one of her top 3 choices but since she could only get 2 pairs this pair of glasses got dumped.  She went with 2 different, cuter, younger looking ones.
Ella finally lost her two front teeth.  She lost one of them on the day before school started. She walked around with one tooth gone for about 2 weeks.  It was driving me crazy with her one tooth gone and one just hanging out.  I decided to bribe Ella with a Dr. Pepper if she could get the other tooth out.  Which she did- that night.
Natalie got some music from my mom and dad for her birthday.  She loves playing on her saxophone and she is very talented with it.
The Young Men and Young Women had a talent show and families were invited.  It was a fun night.  Natalie was up first.  She played her saxophone as her talent.  She as usual did a phenomenal job.
The two girls also sang with a group of boys.  That was-- interesting.
Nate did a magic trick
Nichole read "whose on first" with her friend Kylee.
The highlight of the whole evening was the synchronized swimming that several of the YW and their leaders did.  It was so awesome and we all had a great laugh.

Nate also graduated for the NCO academy (schooling that the military makes you do to prepare for all of the new responsibilities that you will have as a non-commissioned officer).  He went to the academy for 6 weeks and was oh so ready to go back to his normal job.  For the graduation ceremony he had to dress up in his "blues" and they had a dinner and a program that was happening.  I was unable to go to the graduation ceremony because of my surgery.  I felt bad that I missed it but, Nate said that I should be happy that I wasn't there.
