This weekend was the Mountain Home Annual Creche exhibit at the stake center. There were 775 Creche's displayed this year. It was amazing to go and see all of the Nativities displayed and it really made me remember the reason for this time of year and how thankful I am for my Savior. The Creche was done a little different this year. This year the kids were able to look around at the Creche's and try to find sticker's hidden around the exhibit and if they found all of them they got to win a prize. They won a sticker page. The kids had a blast walking around finding all of the stickers. Tyler and Ella also got to display artwork of their own this year. What a fun surprise it was to turn the corner and find tons of little kids artwork depicting the story of Christ's birth. It was fun to try to find which one my kids did.
This one is Tyler's and the scripture says "...She brought forth her firstborn son," Luke 2:7
Ella drew pictures of Angels. Her scripture was "...There was with the Angels a multitude of the Heavenly hosts... " (Luke 2:13)
There was also a live Nativity. There were volunteers that would sit and act out Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. If you had your own newborn they could play the part of Baby Jesus and if not there was a doll that would be baby Jesus. The people would volunteer for 30 minute sessions. This is Brandon and Aubri Johns. They are in my ward. The other volunteers from my ward were Jeremy and Heather Sayer, and Derek and Brianna Smellie. I got to see all of them and they did a great job.

I went around and took some picture's of my favorite Nativities.

I am a little partial because this one is mine.

This year was also done a little different because Nichole, Tyler, Ella and I got to participate in the Creche this year. We all sang. Tyler and Ella sang in the Children's Choir. Nichole sang in the Youth Choir. I sang in Handel's Messiah with my friend Nicole. We all started practicing back in October. We practiced once a week. The kids practiced for a hour and I practiced for a hour and a half every practice. I had such a blast.

Friday night I was at the Creche from 6:30 until 9:00 and Saturday I was there from 10:30 until 11:30 and then off and on again until 5:30 to which I was there until 8:00. I then quickly ran home and changed so that I could help clean up. I only helped until 10:40. Nate was there until after midnight.

It was so fun seeing you and all your kids perform at the Creche! You all did such a great job. Are you serious about Nate being there that late cleaning up - that is insane! (BTW - I don't know who that guy is if he was the one you were asking about!)
