Our spontaneous trip to Utah

Friday night I suckered my husband into taking me to dinner. While we were eating dinner Nate said that he was really hoping that we were in Utah right now because his family was spending time up at their time share and he really wanted to go. He said that he was hinting around about it all week long. So while still there we decided that we were going to go. We got home at 7:15 ran around the house to get all packed up and left at 8:30. We did not get to Utah until 1:30 in the morning. Saturday morning Nate went up to snowbird with his family and I hung out with the kids with my family. It was fun.Sunday morning we looked out the back door and we saw this deer. My mom and dad always have deer in their back yard. The deer have been eating my parents tomatoes from their garden. My dad took Tyler, Ella and Nichole hiking Sunday afternoon. The kids love it and it is a great way to wear them out. Also that evening the kids built themselves a blanket city. It was awesome. The kids were in there playing together for over 5 hours without fighting. That is always a small miracle. The kids even had a mayor which was Tyler. He told my mom that he had a bomb and that if everyone wasn't nice to them he would blow them up hmmm I don't know any mayors like that). They had a baby's room. I think that they used every blanket in the house.

I am such a nerd! I was just thinking today that you hadn't posted in a while and that I should get on you for that but then I thought, "Jessica would never not blog. Why aren't I seeing the updates? Oh, duh! She went private! That's why!" Really, that's what I thought! It was good to catch up on you!
