Happy 4th of July

I love the 4th of July. Independence, BBQ's, hangin out with friends, fireworks what is not to love. The fam and I went to my friends Anna's house yesterday to celebrate the 4th. We all had a great time. They BBQ chicken and we had all the fix ins to go along with it. Potato salad. chips, rolls, jello, ramen salad, the works. The kids got to play outside in the water and the adults played games inside. At 9:30 we headed over to the golf course to watch the town fireworks. We happen to be very lucky that we have an in (my friends dad is a firefighter) and we got to sit in a special section so close to the fireworks sometimes they were right over our heads and we had to bend our necks almost backward to see them all. They were so fun to watch. The kids loved them. And I enjoyed getting to hold Ella on my lap. She really loved them and since she is my last one to enjoy them through I tried to soak in the moment with her. After the fireworks we went back to my house and lite some off in the driveway. They just seemed so small after watching the ones for the town. But I think we all had a Blast!!! Nate and I bought a small box of fireworks and put our name in a drawing to win a big box. And we won!!!
the pictures are a little out of order

Waiting for the fireworks to begin
They put earplugs in Kendra. I would never of thought of doing that. She slept through most of the fireworks.
