Ruby came and played at our house while her mom and dad went out on a date one night. This was the first time that Ruby had been left alone with someone other then family and her mom was a little nervous about leaving her. I sent her pictures throughout the night so that she new that Ruby was being well taken care of.
One isn't to young to start them on Dr. Pepper right? I sent this picture to Marissa just to let her know that when Ruby is at my house she can have whatever she wants. Even my empty Dr. Pepper can. I thought that it was funny (of course I left out that the can was empty when I sent it to her mommy) but Marissa didn't think it was funny at all.
Ruby loves Pretzel. Luckily Pretzel is really good with kids. Ruby climbed on her, pulled her ears and tail, and poked her in the eye about 30 times that night. At this particular time she really wanted to sit by Pretzel so she pulled Pretzels legs apart and scooted on in between them.
The girls and I thought that it would be fun to make her all pretty so we painted her nails.
And put her hair in pig tails. Isn't she so cute?
At my house after dinner everyone helps with chores! She really was enjoying herself at first. Then I tried to get her picture. She just wasn't down with that at all.
Ruby was getting sleepy so we got her ready for a nap.
These pictures are out of order because first we changed her then we cuddled her all up.
And when that didn't work and she wouldn't stop fussing we put her on a blanket and dragged her around the floor. Cheap entertainment right? She loved it. She even fell asleep while it was happening. We had such a great night with her. And luckily for me her mom wasn't too mad at me and has since let me watch Ruby. I will have to try harder next time.
