I am still in shock. I have two twelve year olds. Where has the time gone? I remember the day that they were born. On the 17th I had to go into the hospital (like I did every week starting at 25 weeks and the time I was 4 days shy of 40 weeks) Nichole's heartbeat dropped drastically. So the nurse called the doctor to find out what he wanted to do with me. He decided that I needed to stay in the hospital and be induced. 3 hours later around 4 o'clock they put gel on me to see if that would start my labor. It didn't do much for me a little but not much. I hung out at the hospital that night with Nate, my sis, and my friend Mindy. We played card games and I tried to sleep very unsuccessfully. Around 6 o'clock the next morning they started pitocin. It helped more and I started having contractions and dilating. The Doctor told me that once I started feeling any contractions then I should get an epidural just in case I had to have a C-section. Sure enough the first sign of just a little bit of pain I got an epidural. Finally things picked up and I had my two precious little girls. Natalie came first at 5:06 and Nichole arrived 6 minutes later at 5:12. There were many people in the waiting room waiting to meet these 2 little girls. My mom got to carry Natalie to the nursery. Which is great since Natalie is named after her. Natalie is so spunky. She has a sense of humor like her mom. She is very much the oldest child. She is always in the middle of a conversation even though she may not know what we are talking about. She is learning to play the saxophone and is picking up on it quite quickly. She is smart and beautiful. She wants to be a photographer when she grows up.
Nichole is a little more reserved. She is our peacekeeper in the house. She wants to keep everyone happy. She loves little kids and loves to babysit. She is very kind hearted and has a hard time when someone gets hurt or is sad. She has started making clothes for her webkinz. She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. She too is smart and beautiful.

All of the girls had a ton of fun. It was a sleepover party so I told the girls that they could be as noisy as they wanted until 10 and after that they had to keep it down. And they did. I did not hear them again until 8:30 the next morning.
Happy Birthday Girlies I Love You Two!!!!!

You are such a good mom for twins. I love how different they are and how you make sure they get to be. They really are so beautiful. I don't know why but I felt like crying when I read this post. Weird.
