Going Camping

After we came home from all of our exciting adventures in Utah and spent one whole night in our own beds we went on the ward camp out. We had a great time especially because my brother Rock and his wife Meagan got to come with us. We went camping up on some land that a member of our ward owns. They have a really nice cabin there (we have spent the night there once before) and so it was like camping with the added benefit of indoor plumbing. On our way up to the cabin we almost got rear ended by Rocky. Nate slowed down for the turn a little late. He said he looked in the rear view mirror and Rock was still coming so he punched the gas and took off up the road a few extra feet. Luckily we were all safe. We got up to the cabin around 12:00 and set up the tent and just hung out and talked with the Pridles and we got to know them a lot better. We got them all to ourselves for a couple of hours before anyone else showed up. The night was a lot of fun. There was a creek for the kids to play in. As well as a playground. The kids just enjoyed running around with all of the other kids up there. We stayed up at the cabin until 12:00 the next day. We had a great time and the kids didn't want to leave.

Soon Tyler had to have one too.Meagan getting some shut eye in her hammock.Ella and Lindsey on the horse that the Cram's brought up for the kids to ride. On Sunday Brother Cram gave a talk during Sacrament meeting and told how much fun the camp out was and how he got to get to know people that he didn't know very well. He told us a story of how Ella was waiting in line to ride on the horse and she saw the horse pawing at the ground. Ella asked why the horse was doing that and Sister Cram replied because he was bored. Ella said that she would tell him to stop because she can "speak horse language". She then went on to say "neigh, neigh, neigh, he won't do that anymore." Later as she was riding the horse she told them to "not go too fast because remember she is only 5." That girl cracks me up.Tyler and Jackson on the horse. Tyler really wanted to ride the horse but didn't want to do it by himself and Jackson did not want to do it at all. Eventually Tyler convinced Jack to take a ride with him.Nichole was not going to ride the horse either. I am still unsure what made her change her mind about it.
