Firestation trip

Last night they had an open house at the fire station for fire safety week. We got to ride on the top of the firetruck. It was freezing cold. But the best part was that the firetruck was a little to close to one of the trees and the branches whipped half of the people in the face. How do you not see a tree branch coming but it caught everyone by surprise. No one got hurt and everyone thought it was funny. After that we toured the fire station. They gave the kids goodie bags. It was alot of fun for everyone.

I think I was the only person in town who didn't know about this until it was too late. It looks like a ton of fun. I'll have to mark my calander for next year!

I'm with Heather, I didn't know about it, until I ran to the store and saw the firetrucks, and a sign or something. It looks like you had fun though!
