Sesame Street Live

Tyler, Ella and I went to see Sesame Street live with the Spencer's today. We all had such a great time. Sesame Street came to the AFB and kinda talked about if your parents deploy but mostly they just sang and danced around. We were lucky enough to arrive a hour early so we were the first ones at the door. We got to sit on the second row and we were able to see the characters very well. Cookie Monster, Zoe, and Elmo came down into the audience and Ella got to touch all of them. She was so excited. It was so much fun. The smile on Ella's and Maddi's face was priceless. The kids played in the dirt while we waited in line.

My beautiful kids

While I was in Utah I took the kids over to the Nate's grandparents house and took pictures in their yard. They have the funnest property. I woke the kids up at 6:00 to get them ready. I was so tired that when the alarm woke me up I actually turned it off and decided that I wasn't going to go and do picture's. But after laying in bed and not being able to fall back asleep I drug us all out of bed and got the kids ready to take the pictures and I am sure glad I did because they turned out really good.out in the fields

I thought that this was so funny. Push Ella your doing it.

Choley- grandpa has several of these old trucks
Nan and I had to hike in to take these pictures

Grandpa Swenson's barn

Nate's Grandpa has an awesome collection of antique signs. The other day when we were at his house he asked me to take a picture of his barn so that he could hang it up in his garage. He wanted to get one with all of his signs in it. I think Grandpa is just an amazing person so I just couldn't refuse him. Here is his barn isn't it cool.

My little brother is getting married

I can't believe that my little brother is getting married. It seems like just yesterday when those two met. Oh wait it was almost yesterday (only 6 weeks worth of yesterdays anyway). I am so excited for these two they are so cute together. I got to know Meagan when her and Rock came up to Idaho for the ward camp out and I just thought that she was really fun to be around. I really got to know her when I went to Utah to visit my family this last trip. I was even lucky enough to take their engagement pictures. I am excited to have a new addition to my family. love you two.

Twin Falls Temple Open House

The Fam and I got up at 6:00 this morning so that we could go to the Twin Falls Temple Open House. We drove for the 75 minutes and arrived just in time for our 8:20 tour time. You started out at the church adjacent to the temple and watched a 10 minute video about temples. Then we walked over to the temple and went to all of the different rooms. Tyler and Nate's favorite was the baptismal font. Both of the big girls liked to look at the Celestial room and I always love the sealing rooms. Ella enjoyed the cookies at the church across the street. I had a great time with the family and was very happy that I got to take the kids to the open house. The kids were excited that they were able to go to.

Ward Campout

This last weekend we went to the Ward campout. I invited my little brother to come with us. It we had so much fun. We got there around 6:30 on Thursday night and immediately set up camp. there were already 2 families there waiting for us to arrive. We had a wonderful potluck dinner and just hung around the campfire while the kids played near the river and around the campground. Friday morning we all woke up refreshed (ha I thought that it was funny too how refreshed can you really be camping) let me reword that we woke up and had a wonderful breakfast. Nate made us a strawberry strudel. And then we drove us to Trinity Lake. On our way up the dirt road we blew a tire on the van. Actually a quarter size hole was in our tire so we had to buy a new one. We had to divide our kids up into other peoples cars and Nate and I went into town to see if there was anywhere to buy a new tire which was a joke because the town is so small there is almost nothing there. We did find a place that could repair a tire so we had our friends who were coming up later that night bring us a tire and someone in own mounted it for us. Nate and I went back to camp and just hung out the two of us until some other people from the ward arrived. When all of the people got back the menfolk decided to build a dam in the river to kinda try to slow it down the tide was pretty strong. The guys played in the water with the kids and splashed in the water like kids. And all of the women sat on the shore and watched the little ones that couldn't go into the water. Later when more families arrived (there were a total of 10 families) we had a great BBQ and a neat fireside. My friend Nicole showed up and we played cards that is always fun. The next morning we packed up camp and hung out until around 1 and took off. I was awfully excited to get home and get a bath. I do love not smelling like campfire. Nicole stayed another night and told me that when they were playing in the dam Saturday there was a water snake in there. And her husband saw a black bear on the other side of the river when they woke up in the morning. We all had a great time I was especially happy that My little brother could make it and I got to meet his girlfriend. Also that the Spencer family could come. The kids posing up by Trinity Lakes

Nattie at camp excited to be there
Tyler in front of Trinity Lake

Tyler was so exhausted on the way home from Trinity Lake that he fell asleep like this. You cant tell really well but if you look under the seat belt you might see that there is no arm in that sleeve he had them tucked into his shirt because he was cold. Poor thing.

Ellas turn

It was Ella's turn to have her pictures taken. I found this hat and just fell in love with it so I had to find a cute little dress to go with it. I just love hats on kids for pictures. I think they are a really cute accessories. It was a perfect day for pictures too. I loved the way the pictures turned out. Plus she is a really good model.

These last two are my favorites I love the older feel that they give the pictures.

Happy 4th of July

I love the 4th of July. Independence, BBQ's, hangin out with friends, fireworks what is not to love. The fam and I went to my friends Anna's house yesterday to celebrate the 4th. We all had a great time. They BBQ chicken and we had all the fix ins to go along with it. Potato salad. chips, rolls, jello, ramen salad, the works. The kids got to play outside in the water and the adults played games inside. At 9:30 we headed over to the golf course to watch the town fireworks. We happen to be very lucky that we have an in (my friends dad is a firefighter) and we got to sit in a special section so close to the fireworks sometimes they were right over our heads and we had to bend our necks almost backward to see them all. They were so fun to watch. The kids loved them. And I enjoyed getting to hold Ella on my lap. She really loved them and since she is my last one to enjoy them through I tried to soak in the moment with her. After the fireworks we went back to my house and lite some off in the driveway. They just seemed so small after watching the ones for the town. But I think we all had a Blast!!! Nate and I bought a small box of fireworks and put our name in a drawing to win a big box. And we won!!!
the pictures are a little out of order

Waiting for the fireworks to begin
They put earplugs in Kendra. I would never of thought of doing that. She slept through most of the fireworks.

Trying to make a decision

Tyler and I got up early this morning to take pictures to send out with an invitation to his baptism. We had a lot of fun but he gets frustrated with taking pictures and started to cry at the end but I think the pictures turned out really good. Now to decide what one to send out.I think Tyler would hurt me if I sent out this picture.
